More about our Cookies

Our own cookies

These are cookies our website sets. It currently uses two:  wordpress_test_cookie and wp-saving-post cookie. They are set for Registered Users only (ourselves, site administrators) and they are used to verify our log-in details and to enable us to update the site and display news items. If you are a visitor to our website neither of these cookies will be set on your computer or device.

Third Party Cookies

Many websites include functions provided by third parties. Our ‘Find Us’ page includes a Google Maps function which allows you to see where Durham Therapy Centre is located and offers the option to click on the Map to get directions to our address. This will cause cookies to be set by Google which are used to store user preferences. For more information see:

Links to other websites which may use cookies

Our site contains links to the websites of a number of individual practitioners and professional organisations. If you click on a link in order to visit one of these websites, we have no control over its content and accept no responsibility for the cookies it may set.  So we recommend that you exercise caution and look at the cookie statement applicable to the website in question.

Turning Cookies Off

You can usually switch cookies off by adjusting your browser settings to stop it from accepting cookies (Learn how here). Doing so however will likely limit the functionality of our and other websites.

Parts of the cookie information text on this page came from an audit report provided by Attacat Internet Marketing, a marketing agency based in Edinburgh.
